This component allows you to search YouTube to find a video and embed it into your course.

Adding a YouTube Video
  • Go to Content Area/Folder
  • Click Build Content tab
  • Click YouTube Video
  • Enter in key terms to the search bar
  • Select language
  • Click Go
  • Click Select on chosen video
  • Check name and fill in additional information
  • Select any Advanced Options
  • Select yes by Permit Users to View this Content
  • Select Any Standard Options
  • Preview YouTube Video (optional)
    • Click Preview
    • Interact with content
    • Click Back
  • Click Submit

Deleting a YouTube Video
  • Mouse over the video’s name
  • Click on the arrow next to the name to open the Context Menu
  • Click Delete
  • Click OK

Advanced Options
View: Set it so the students see a Thumbnail link, a Text Link with Player, or an Embedded video.
Show YouTube URL: This creates a link to the YouTube web site enabling students to browse videos.
Show YouTube Information: This displays the length of the video, the name of the creator, and the date the video was added.
